Napa Bullets

• While not warranting an immediate response to address life-safety issues, the damages appear significant enough to warrant a possible declaration (attached).

• Using the data enhanced for the region during preparation of the BayArea Cat plan. The analysis was on the 4 Counties impacted by strong or very strong ground motions (Contra Costa, Napa, Solano, and Sonoma counties).

Napa Bullets

• The model projects no serious or life-threatening injuries and estimates ~20 minor injuries.

• Total building economic losses are estimated at $360M (95% are non-structural*), $275M of these losses are in Napa County.

• The total number of buildings with slight or greater damage is estimated at ~10,600 (9,600 slight and 1,000 moderate).
