In this Earth Day presentation for the Broadway Green Alliance, I discussed some of the tenets of sustainable lighting design for the theater. I talked about basic design principles, selecting gear in a world of LEDs and best practices for running a theatrical venue or production. I also discussed the Greener Lighting Guide. I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Donyale Werle a Tony Award winning set designer, with Andrea Laurer an amazing costume designer and Allen Hershkowitz of the NRDC.
