General Information

• Hold questions until the end of the presentation

• All questions must be submitted in writing by Wednesday, March 17th

Purpose of the RFP

• Select a vendor to satisfy a state-wide need for E-Rate Consulting Services as necessary to obtain Universal Service discounts on Internet access and telephone services in a timely manner

• Vendor should provide State services at a competitive price

Scope of RFPThe successful bidder will collect data required to file FCC forms – 470– 471– 486– 479– 472

as necessary to obtain Universal Service discounts on Internet access and telephone services in a timely manner – For the Indiana State Library and consortium

members will provide reports with pertinent data after filing

Scope of RFP

• Baseline is $68,000 annually on E-Rate Consulting Services (based on 2009 historical spend data)

• State does not guarantee future spending at these levels.

• Contract Term: – One (1) year from the date of contract execution – possibility of three (3) one-year renewals – totaling four (4) years.

Scope of RFP• The successful bidder will

– File for any new, necessary BENs– File 471 for every member of the consortium– Secure 471 certification for each member– Provide examples of responding to PIA requests for

clients– File 486 for every member of the consortium– Secure 486 certification for each member– Provide a plan for support for clients in the case of site

visits, reviews, or audits– File necessary forms for ISL P1 and P2 services
