Living thanks
Thank you! I exuded, after re-ceiving a hefty bag of homegrown
tomatoes. I set the produce onthe kitchen floor; I would attendto it shortly. But I got distracted
for days.
Finally, I lifted the bag to make
use of the gift, and the bottomfell out. Many of the tomatoes
had become squishy, their juicessoaking the paper beneath them.Instead of making good use ofthe generous gift, I was left
cleaning up rotten tomatoes andthrowing many of the veggies
away.
We do the same with Gods gifts:Ill practice piano tomorrow next week next month untilsoon we dont remember how to
play at all. We pass up chances tovisit someone dear and, when shemoves away, regret squanderingthe friendship. We opt to sleep ininstead of attending worship, un-aware of what gifts of Gods Word
and Christian fellowship wellmiss.
Be in prayer for the LBA Mis-
sion Team, heading out thisSunday. Several of our mem-
bers (listed below) are part of
the mission team and some
are leaving a day early to set
up. Please be praying for their
safety and for the Lord to be
able to do His wonderful
works through them.

Overly Suspicious
When Adam stayed out very late for a few
nights, Eve became upset. "You're runningaround with other women," she charged.
"You're being unreasonable," Adamresponded. "You're the only woman on
earth." The quarrel continued until Adam fellasleep,
only to be awakened by someone pokinghim in the chest.
It was Eve. "What do you think you're
doing?" Adam demanded.
"Counting your ribs," said Eve.
