Middle School Goals• At least 90% of scholars will meet their MAP and STAAR goals through

small group, individualized and differentiated instruction.

• 100% of scholars will read, write and speak in every class, every day in

order to reinforce the skills needed to succeed in life.

• At least 90% of teachers and students agree that Grand provides a culture

and environment conducive to scholar learning and that the instructional and

developmental support has provided students with the opportunity to reach

expected outcomes and goals.

• 100% of parents will be able to articulate their child’s weekly academic

and behavioral progress, participate in Grand and community

Volunteer Opportunities

• We have many opportunities for you to come help our staff!

• Teachers have developed ‘wish lists’ and include helping with the following:– Copying

– Making books for scholars

– Creating centers (cutting, laminating)

– Organizing scholar materials

• Email your child’s teacher or call Gaby Solis (our receptionist) to set up a time to volunteer. Any amounts of time are helpful!

Volunteer Opportunities

• We would also love to have parents help develop/organize fundraising opportunities throughout the year.

• If you cannot physically come into volunteer:– Donate books to our library

– Donate food and drinks for our teachers• Thank You Thursday Lunches

– Ask your child’s teacher if they have things you can complete at home (cutting, sorting, etc)

– Organize fundraisers & school-wide events
