Dolch Pre-Primer Sight Words
Sight Word List
& Sentence
Assessment
Sheets
Melissa Freshwater

I use these assessment sheets to assess my
students weekly. They simply begin with a word list.
Once they “master” the word list (100%% accuracy 2
weeks in a row) I move them onto the sentences to
build their fluency.
After they have achieved 100% on all word and
sentence lists, I move them onto a new list. Due to
the fact I teach 2nd grade most of my kiddos begin
at the primer level.
I hope these assessment help make your
weekly/monthly sight word assessments a little
smoother.
These sheets were adapted from the word lists
found on Mrs. Perkins Site.
