Prof/ Prof I completed my Master (M.Sc) and Doctoral (Ph.D) degrees from the department of physics, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2010 and 2013 respectively. At the end of my study, I was awarded from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia as Best Post-Graduate Student (based on period of study and list of publication). In 2008, I completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in University of Riau and also obtained Best Student Award.

During my study, I undergone various experimental and teaching experience under Teaching Assistance Scam (TAS) both undergraduate and postgraduate level. I have subject concentration in semiconductor physics that consist of Solid State Physics, Semiconducting and Bulk Material, Semiconductor Devices, Thin Film Physics, Electromagnetism, Analytical Technique and Optoelectronics. My current research topic and interest is electro optic device (Optoelectronics) for sensing application, and novel Graphene material waveguide. Recent years, I worked at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia as post-doctoral staff. I have published my work in various indexed international journal with impact factor, five text books, two patent filing, and also giving oral presentation in eight international conferences. Furthermore, I also supervise list of postgraduate and undergraduate students for final year project.
