The A.T. Still University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is

committed to educating highly competent and professional entry level physical therapists who are dedicated to clinical excellence,

whole person health care, cultural competence, critical inquiry, and

lifelong learning.

• Build on prerequisite coursework through courses in the basic sciences and begin clinical courses in the area of general practice and musculoskeletal areas

• Begin core courses in research design, methodology, and statistics

• Ends with the first full-time clinical experience

• Continue with clinical courses in both the musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation areas

• Progress into courses focusing on special populations

• Introduced to the two capstone project options and choose capstone -related courses for subsequent quarters that are commensurate with project choice

• Continue work on capstone project

• Complete four full-time internships

• Participate in virtual grand rounds

Admission RequirementsAdmission Requirements

• Minimum 2.80 cumulative GPA and a 2.80 prerequisite GPA (on a 4.00 scale)

• Applicants are required to submit official GRE scores. Any scores older than 3 years prior to the matriculation year, will not be accepted

• References from: a) a present or former science faculty member, academic advisor or employer b) a professional from the physical therapy field sent directly to PTCAS

• Applicants are required to obtain a minimum of 30 contact hours in various physical therapy fields prior to application
