• A conversion ratio (or unit factor) is a ratio equal to one.

Converting Units

• The main idea in when converting units is to create a conversion ratio (unit factor) which has the units you want in the numerator and the units you already have in the denominator.

Convert 50 cubic yards to cubic feet. 1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet
