It’s a “dot”—a square, filled with color

“dpi” = “dots per inch”

More dpi = more information More dpi = sharper image More dpi = larger file More

What does the resolution setting mean?

1600x1200= best quality, big file (2 shots per disk)

640x480= lowest quality, small file (24 shots per disk)(Not adequate for print documents,

but good enough for PowerPoint presentations.)

(OK for most print documents.)

•For documents to be printed,

use high quality image (200+ dpi)

•For PowerPoint presentations,

use small file size (72 dpi)
