THE MIKADO POSTERTHIS POSTER illustrates the theme of duality, found in the Gilbert & Sullivan opera, THE MIKADO, by highlighting the song, “The Sun Whose Rays Are All Ablaze.”

THE THIRD YEAR of Acura’s Season of Reason Sales Event demanded a refreshed logo, look and feel. I created a logo that would be used on executions from posters to national commercials. In addition, I also designed a poster, pull up banner, hang tags, and other collateral that would be showcased in dealerships across the country.

‘Tis the season to over save.LEFT: This design for a poster was applied to a pull up banner,hang tag, window cling,and stickers to be displayed in Acura dealerships across the US.

2013 ACURA RLX DIGITAL CAMPAIGN2013HEAD OF ART: PHILLIP SQUIRE

TO PROPERLY LAUNCH Acura’s new flagship sedan, the RLX, we created a multitude of digital ads that highlight the car’s features. These placements included mobile, flash, and rich media banners.

BELOW: Banners created for the RLX digital campaign. After being given the concept of the ad, tI created all the artwork, as well as designed the layout.

CREATED FOR the 2012 Acura ILX launch, this ad showcases the car through commercials, and image gallerys. Designed using a minimal layout, users were able to easily explore the car and what it has to offer.

JOLLY B. FIERCE MARKETING PLANCREATED FOR CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY’S Entertainment Marketing class, this plansbook details a step-by-step process for successfully marking the film “Jolly B. Fierce” a film about a Filipino drag queen,from festival to gaining disribution, and then to a mass audience.

IN ORDER TO PROMOTE Acura’s parnership with Marvel, as the official car of S.H.I.E.L.D., I worked to design ads and other items that would help to promote the launch of the Acura/Marvel microsite.

ABOVE: The poster I concepted and designed to promote Tony Stark’s red NSX, as well as the militarized Acuras. I also acted as Art Director on the photoshoot, as well as through the retouching and printing process.

ACURA REWARDS WEBSITE REFRESH2012HEAD OF ART: PHILLIP SQUIRE

THE ACURA REWARDS website was in desperate need of a refresh tochange it from dark and drab to a sleeker design to better reflect the changig nature of the Acura Brand.

CROWN TRADING COSMETIC COMPANYTHE CROWN TRADING Cosmetic Company is an upscale brand dedicated to producing high-end products. The brand look and feel takes reference from Victorian London design trends, and is reflected here through type treatmeant as well as the materials used.

HANSEN’S SODA REPACKAGINGIN ORDER TO REDESIGN the Hansen’s soda packaging, this project took inspiration from the company’s Southern California heritage, as well as thier history of providing all-natural soda.

SLINKY RETRO PACKAGEIN ORDER TO CREATE a special edition package, this project references imagery and American toy packaging from the 1950’s, when Slinky was first introduced.
