DDC4000 automation system for the buildings of tomorrow
The automation systemwith unlimited possibilities
The world of building automation is changing. The DDC4000 automation system is already setting standards for the future.
Safe and reliable control systems start with people.
The simple and transparent operating concept of the automation stations provides optimal user comfort and safety. The menus on the color TFT touchscreen are individually designed and customized to meet unique user requirements. The user interface is intuitive, system conditions can be detected at a glance, and control and optimization tasks run quickly and reliably.
Networking of technical systems is advancing.
The DDC4000 automation system is natively equipped with BACnet® and LON®. This allows for cross-discipline solutions and provides the basis for comprehensive integration. Thanks to the open data communication, extensions and modifications are simple. With the automation stations and bus-compatible input/output modules, the DDC4000 system can implement extensive automation solutions. Ethernet interfaces for data transfer with the TCP/IP Internet Protocol allow plug-and-play solutions in both new and existing networks.
Cross-communication – anytime, anywhere.
The automation stations are equipped with a web server and the Linux operating system to offer high functionality and flexibility. Linux is the foundation for systems of all sizes.

Changes during operation – anytime, anywhere. Online configuration changes are also possible while running applications – via the touchscreens of the automation stations, web browser or tools. The system response can be observed live. Changes in the system configuration are automatically synchronized with the tools.
On the web, web services can be easily and securely integrated into the system.
All automation stations can be remotely operated. PCs and mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, become the console terminal via a web browser. Additional color TFT touchscreens can also be integrated. Two-way remote control of all automation stations is ensured via web services. Converters, M-Bus meters, etc. can be connected directly via gateway modules.
Object-oriented systems offer individual solutions.
The measuring and control software is “on board”. Configurable items fulfill various defined, combinable control and regulation tasks. The tasks can be configured and activated online. The software also controls modems and support for sending fax, SMS and e-mail.
Sustainable concepts provide investment security.
All components of the DDC4000 automation system are matched to proven Kieback&Peter systems and compatible up to the third generation. This means that the DDC3000 automation system can also be operated remotely from the DDC4000 automation system. It is possible for 2 module bus strands to be connected up to a length of max. 2000 m. All modules of the proven DDC3000 automation system are directly connectable. The DDC4000 automation system offers investment protection and creates the conditions for economical building automation.
Designing with objects
The DDC4000 automation system has all of the functionality required for configuring HVAC systems, as well as:
Control objects Objects for management Objects representing the ventilation system (2-speed fans, etc.)
integrated into the DDC4000 automation station. This provides for simple, fast and standardized configuration.
The objects contain selectable options to optimize energy use and improve energy efficiency.
