DALIT and its progams

DALIT is a NGOrecognized by the Bangladesh Government working since 1998 to develop and mainstream the outcast and other marginalized communities in the South Western part of Bangladesh (Khulna, Jessore, Satkhira and Bagherat DIstricts). Primary and secondary education, human rights awareness and mobilization against common practices as child marriage, mainly for girls, primary health care,hygiene promotion, access to safe water and sanintation (WASH), vocational training programs for adolescents, ayurvedic medicine production unit and handicraft are the main implemented programs.
