His biography• Salvador Dalí was born in 1904 in Figueres. • He studied in Escola Municipal de Dibuix in

Figueres in 1916 and in 1920 he went to Madrid and studied in Escuela de Bellas Artes.

• In 1922 he received his first award with his work Mercat.

• His friends were Luis Buñuel, Federico García lorca, Pedro Garfias, Eugenio Montes and Pepin Bello.

• Federico Garcia Lorca spent his holidays with him in Cadaques in 1925.

• He visited Paris for first time in 1926 and he met Picasso Picasso.

• In 1927 it was observed that his works were among the first to have surrealist influences.

• Dalí met Gala in 1929 in Cadaqués.• He did two films with Buñuel. The two fils are Un

chien andalou and L’âge d’or. • He worked in a screenplay for the film Giraffes on

Horseback Salad with the brothers Marx and Harpo.

• In 1945 he worked with Alfred Hitchcock, an important Hollywood director, in the film Spellbound

• He married Gala in 1934.• In 1964 Dalí won “la Gran Creu d’Isabel la

Catòlica”. In Toquio Mainichi Newspapers organized a big retrospective and Mainichi travelled to different Japan countries. Éditions de la Table Ronde to publish Journal d’un génie

• In 1969, Salvador Dalí bought the castle Púbol and he decorated the castle for Gala.

• Salvador Dalí died on 23 January in 1989 in Torre Galatea.

• Dalí had a very interesting live because he did a lot of things in his live all the years. He drawn a lot of surrealist paintings and we like his paintings. We believe Dalí was a strange person and he was crazy.
