A bit about meOver the past 7 years, I have focused and advanced my knowledge of Software Development. I have explored new areas and challenged myself through various employment and personal projects helping to understand all that it has to offer.I started a ‘Code Club’ at my secondary school and am currently developing a web based social platform, from which I have gained experience and aptitude in the field.When starting a new project, I enjoy the challenges of having to learn a new programming language or research a new algorithm that I have not previously used. Building my PC by hand required patience, organisation and above all the drive to see the project through to the end.

● Feltonfleet School, September - October 2015○ As a data consultant, I was required to use a content management system (iSams) to
format and input sensitive data along with training and supporting others members of staff
○ I also redesigned the Feltonfleet facebook page, to ensure the security aligned with company protocol
● 28b Ltd, 10th - 21st February 2014○ I produced a prototype iOS mobile application that used location services and database
storage○ I used rapid learning and pair programming to learn a new programming language
(XCode) in a very short period of time
● Hyperion, week placement July 2012○ I was encouraged to learn quickly due to the short timeframes, resulting in me gaining a
good understanding of a new programming paradigm and language in a matter of days○ I worked primarily in a team helping to solve problems, and despite being the youngest
member I was able to contribute effectively and provide valuable insights resulting in fixes being implemented
○ I received feedback from my placement manager; who was very impressed with the work I completed and how I quickly integrated with the team

Aims and Goals:My number one goal is, and will always be, to learn as much as possible in the field of Computing. Whether that’s absolute fluency in a language, learning a new one from scratch or even an entirely new area of Computing that I didn’t realise existed. Every challenge is a step forward for me, and I am fully committed to overcoming anything thrown my way.I aim to become a proficient full stack developer with additional expertise in online marketing and business management. From here, I hope to kickstart a company dedicated to advancements in Computing.Upon completion of my degree, I will have an excellent building block to continue my projects and to achieve these goals. I am currently working on a web based social platform to allow user to have a voice and share stories to the web, and it’s end to end projects like this that I think with progress my knowledge and make me a suitable candidate for any position within a development company.
