Wastewater generated from the project willbe treated in STP. Treated water will bereused for flushing, horticulture and HVACcooling and remaining will be discharged toGMADA sewer.
12. Analysis reports of ambient air, ground waterand noise levels from NABL/MoEFAccredited laboratories as per detail below:
(i) The field data sheets as prescribed bySEIAA, Punjab which are available on theofficial website of SEIAA, Punjab along withexact location of sampling / monitoring pointmarked on the layout map should be filled atthe time of sample collection/monitoring bythe Lab and should be attached with the water,air, noise & soil monitoring reports.
(ii) Water, air, noise & soil monitoring reportsmore than 6 months old or prior to date ofsigning of consent letters/agreement with theland owner shall not be accepted w.e.f. June,1st 2015 onwards.
(iii) Atleast one groundwater sample fromthe shallow / first aquifer and in casegroundwater is to be abstracted for drinkingpurposes then atleast one groundwater samplefrom the said aquifer should be monitored andreports be attached accordingly.
Test reports along with the field data sheetsare enclosed as Annexure-10A & 10Brespectively.

Environment Management Plan mentioningthe Mitigation measures along withcompliance of various regulations isenclosed with the application.
Mr. Abhay Garg of M/s. Curo India Pvt.Ltd. will be responsible for implementationof EMP for 5 years and after that thewelfare society of "Curo North Square" willbe responsible for the same.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAILS
MOHALI:DISTRICT AT GLANCE
S.A.S. Nagar District has been carved out of areas falling in Ropar and Patiala District as 18th District of
Punjab on 14th April, 2006. Because of its contiguous with the union territory of Chandigarh. The district has
been formed to achieve growth of development as this area is emerging as major I.T.hub of Nothern India.
The district includes Mohali, Kharar and Dera Bassi Teshils. It is located in theNorth Eastpart of Punjab.
And is part of Patiala division The District includes 414 villages. The important township in the district are
Kharar, Kurali, Mohali, Zirakpur & Dera Bassi. Kharar tehsil is the largest administrative unit of the New
district with 154 villages followed by Dera Bassi Tehsil with 44villages.
GEOGRAPHICAL AREA:
The district is spread over geographical area of 1092.64sq. kms. The rural areaconstitutes1021.77
sq.kms. as compared to urban area of 70.87 sq.kms.
POPULATION
As per statistical abstract of the Punjab2011the population of the districtis 9,94,628out of which the rural
population is 450017& population of urban area is544611.The male population of the district is529253
out of which rural male population is240984whereas urban male population is288269. The total female
population of the district is465375out of which the rural female population is209033whereas urban
females are256342. The S.C. population of the district is216231out of which rural S.C. population is
132713& S.C. in urban area is83518.
EDUCATION INTITUTIONS
Mohali District has emerged as a major center of technical education. There are 8 engineering colleges
which offer variety of technical course. The Punjab School Education Board isalso operating in the district.
NIPER: A pioneer institute of pharmaceutical & education research is situated at Mohali.

Community Development Blocks in the District
KHARAR BLOCK
This block consists of 154 villages and 2 towns namely S.A.S. Nagar and Kharar and there 4 un-inhabited
villages. As per2011census the total population of the block is 369798. The rural population of the block is
196044 out of which there are 106688 males and 89356 females. The total S.C. Population in the rural area
is 55544.
The block is having totalarea of 411.32 sq.kms. Out of which the rural area covers 383.26 sq.kms.
Under the service area approach, all the villages havebeen allocated among 17 branches of commercial
banks and 4 branches of RPBs. There are Total 86 branches are functioning in the block which comprises
of 57 commercial banks, 13 private banks. 11 Coop. Banks, 4 Punjab Gramin Banks & 1 Agricultural
Development bank. S.A.S. Nagar has emerged as a Industrial Focal Point and designated as District Head
Quarter. It has become a satellite town of Chandigarh and has registered a fast rate of growth.
MAJRI BLOCK
Majri Block comprises of 116 villages out of which 1 village is un-inhabited. This block forms part of Kharar
sub division. The total population of the block is 111598 as per2011census. The population in rural area is
88551, out of which 47892 aremales and 40659 are female. The S.C. population in rural area is rural area
is 25531. Kurali is the only town in the block and has population of 23047. This block is spread over an
area 274.84 sq.kms. The block comes under dark category. All the villages numbering 116 have been
allocated among 8 branches of commercial banks and one branch of P.G.B.. There are 16 branches
operating in this block which comprises of 9 branches of commercial banks. 1 Pvt. Sector Bank, One
branch of PGB and SAS Nagar central co-operative bank is having 5 branches.
Due to certain incentives being initiated by the- Govt. many large and small scales industrial units have
been established around Kurali.
DERA BASSI BLOCK
This block consists of 144 villages and 2 towns namely Zirakpur and Dera Bassi and there are 6 un-
inhabited villages. As per2011census the total population of the block is 216921. The rural population of
the block is 170192 out of which thereare 93116 males and 77076 females. The total S.C. population lin
the rural area is 48683.
This block is having total area of 406.48 sq.kms. Out of which the rural area covers 371.17 sq.kms.
Dera Bassi block has a good number of small scale units. Chemical paints, Steel tubes, plywood,
handlooms and kntting of daris are some of the industries which have koffered good employment to a
number of persons. The soil of the block is sandy to sandy loam
There are total 25 branches are functioning in the block which comprises of 19 commercial banks, 1 private
banks, 3 coop. banks, 1 Malwa Gramin Bank & 1 agricultural development bank.
