Now, let’s make some badges!

CREATE BADGE BUSINESS OBJECT
Create a EventBadges Business Object from the Order_Badge table.

Filters• Event Code• Badge Type (Optional)• Order Date (Optional)

Include all the fields you want to display on your badges.

RUN YOUR IQA

SAVE YOUR REPORT TO WORKSTATION
Choose the Report tab.Save Report Definition to Workstation.

CREATE YOUR EVENT BADGES
• Open the report downloaded from the staff site in Report Builder 3.0
• Delete the footer, header, and table to create a blank report
• Select the body of the report

CREATE YOUR EVENT BADGE
Change the size of your report to match the size of
your badge.
For this example, we are using the Avery 5392
badges.

CREATE YOUR EVENT BADGE
• Insert table and draw the area in your report.
• Delete all but one column and remove the header row.

CREATE YOUR EVENT BADGE
• Add multiple rows for each field you want to add.
• Modify your badge to include any font changes you would like.
• Add a logo for your association or event to personalize your badges.

CREATE YOUR EVENT BADGE
• Properties window
– Modify the Columns to 2 with a column spacing of 0 in
– Change margins to match those of your badge print outs
– Select the image to ensure your document is printing in portrait NOT landscape.
*Note: When you export a report out of iMIS and bring it into Report Builder, it defaults to a landscape orientation
• Save your report

BRING YOUR NEW REPORT INTO IMIS
• RiSE > Document System > The find the folder in which to place your template
• New > Reporting Services Template
• Select the report template you just created then Upload

BRING YOUR NEW REPORT INTO IMIS
• In the same folder or a different one, go to New > Reporting Services Report.

Sources• Select your newly created Reporting Services Template
and IQA

Parameters• Enable Show parameters at runtime

RUN YOUR NEW REPORT
Select the Run tab and enter your Event Code.
Run your report and selectthe pdf icon to download your badges and print them.

WHERE CAN I PUT THESE REPORTS?
• Place the report in the Event Reports folder under Continuum.
– $/EventManagement/DefaultSystem/Reports
• Use the SSRS Report iPartunder Utility to add your new report to any page
