Presented by Benita Budd, Butch Grove, Rick Smyre, and Larry Darlage In 1983, the National Commission on Excellence in Education gave their report called “A Nation at Risk.” In 2013, little has changed. With this in mind, a network of community colleges has begun to develop a Future Forward College. Based on 47 key ideas including hyper-individualized curriculum, analogous complexity, and a future-forward workforce, new approaches for a Future Forward College are being created to prepare for a constantly changing future.
