Creating a Digital Learning Environment

Coordinator at Riverside Secondary• Designed and Implemented the DI program

and the 1 to 1 iPad project.

• 1350 students & 80 teachers

• South side of Port Coquitlam

• Mixed population with very low to middle socio-economic families

• Most of our technology has come in house with some coming through SD43’s TLI project.

• Most students bring tech from home but we have some devices to share.

• Strong Leadership over the past 9 years

• The last 2 principals have gone on to senior leadership roles in Vancouver and West Van.

• Strong staff commitment to become the district leaders in technology.
