Video:HowtouseDataExports,Reports,andStatshttps://redcap.vanderbilt.edu/consortium/videoplayer.php?video=exports_reports01.mp4&title=How%20to%20use%20Data%20Exports,%20Reports,%20and%20Stats&referer=redcap.ctsi.ufl.eduYoumaycreateanewreportbyselectingthefields/variablesthatyouwanttoincludeinthereport.Youmayaddasmanyfieldstoyourreportasyouwish,andyoucanchoosewhichusersmayviewthisreport.Youwillalsoneedtoprovideanameforyourreport,whichwillthenbedisplayedontheproject'sleft-handmenuforanyonetowhomyouhavegivenaccess.Youcanfiltertheresultsreturnedinthereportinavarietyofways,includingusingcomplexAND/ORlogic.Whenyouarefinished,clicktheSaveReportbuttonatthebottom.Thenewreportwillthenbeaddedtoyourlistofreports,afterwhichyoumayimmediatelybeginviewingthemorexportingthem.

Step1:Select‘Allusers”or“Customuseraccess”todeterminewhichuserswillhaveaccesstoviewthisreport.

Step2:Pickthefieldsyouwanttobedisplayedinthereport.

Step3(Optional):Usefilterstoonlyseecertainsubjects’dataordataatonlyoneevent(iflongitudinal).Forexample,ifyouonlywanttoseeFemalesubjectswithacompletedDemographicsform(seebelow).

Ifyouonlywanttoseedatafromoneevent,highlighttheevent(s)youwanttosee:

Livefilters(optional)allowyoutodynamicallyfilterdatainrealtimeintheactualreport. Step4(optional):Ordertheresults.

ClickonSaveReportwhenyouarefinished.Youshouldreceivethepopupbelow:

ClickonViewReporttoseeyourresults.

Oncethereporthasbeencreatedandsaved,youcaneasilyaccessitbyclickingonthereport’snameunderReports.

Additionally,youcangobacktotheDataExports,Report,andStatspageandclickonthereport’snamethere.

Note:Ifyourprojectislongitudinal,knowingwhicheventoreventsthedatainyourreportcomesfromwillbeveryhelpful,especially for filtering. Forexample, ifallof thedata in thereportcomesfromtheeventcalledBaseline,itwouldbegoodtoselecttheeventBaselineinStep3:
