Accepting a Work Order

AtthebottomoftheoriginalCruChatworkorderdetails,youwillbepromptedtoeither“ACCEPT”or“REJECT”theworkorder

Click“ACCEPT”toaccepttheworkorderor“REJECT”torejecttheworkorder

TheactionwillbetimestampedintheCruChat,andthecustomerwillbenotifiedthattheirworkorderhasbeenacceptedorrejected

Ifyouacceptaworkorder,anewavailableactionto“CHECKIN”andbegintheworkwillappear

Assigning a Work Order

WhenaworkorderisaccepteditcanbeassignedtoafieldtechnicianoraSubtocompletethework

Clickonthetwo-personsilhouetteiconattheupperrightoftheCruChat

Assigning a Work Order

CruMembers andconnectedSubswillappear,seetheexampleontheleftNames thataregrayed-outareCruLeadswhichareautomaticallyincludedonallCruChats

Toassignwork,clickthecheckboxtotherightofthedesiredSuborCruMember's name

EnteraCruChattextmessageandclick“Send”PleasetakecareofthisWO.

TheCruChat reflectstheaddedCruMemberandassignmentoftheworkorder

Checking In to START the Work Order

WhenaCruMemberorSubisassignedaworkorder,theywillberequiredtocheck-intostarttheworkorder

IfintheDesktop,clickorange“CHECKIN”tostarttheworkorder

TheCruChatwillupdatewithanoteindicatingthelocationofthepersonthathascheckedinandbegunwork

Thecustomerwillknowthatthetechnicianwaswithinacertainproximitytothesitewhencheckingin,anditbeginstotracktimesothatboththecustomerandserviceproviderknowhowlongittakestocompletethejob

Pausing a Work Order

Sometimesyouwillneedtopausetheworkorderifthetechniciantakesabreakorleavesthesiteattheendofthedayonamulti-dayproject

Clicktheorange“PAUSE”link

OnceagaintheCruChatwillbenotedtorecordthattheworkorderhasbeenpaused

Whenthetechnicianisreadytorecommenceworktheyclickon“CHECKIN”

Checking Out and Completing the Work Order

Whentheworkiscompleted,clickontheorange“CHECKOUT”link

The“CompleteWorkOrder”windowwillopenwhereyoushouldenterdetailedcommentsabouttheworkthatwascompleted - these commentswillbeavaluablesourceofinformationandrecordforbothyouandyourcustomer

Allrepairsweremadeandproducttested.

Verifying and Rating the Work

When thetechnicianhascheckedoutandtheworkorderhasbeencompleted,thecustomerwillreceivenotification

Customersmayratetheworkduringtheirverificationprocess,andtheratingwillappear,withcomments,intheCruChatverificationmessage

Ifyourcustomerhasimplementedtheverificationstepasarequirementintheworkorderprocess,youwillonlybeabletoinvoicethecustomeroncetheirverificationandworkratinghavebeencompleted
