• A variety of factors contributed to the separation of the settlers in North Carolina at this time, including cultural diversity, politics, and transportation.

Previously:During the 1700’s, colonists arrive and Carolina is formed. The colony struggles for a while, splits in two, yet manages to develop a strong economy based on agriculture & trade.
