• Things go repeatedly wrong

• Things don’t make sense

• Others manipulate to marginalise

• Reach a stage “it is enough”

. . . and God does not seem to make sense

Elijah’s crisis (1 kings 19)

• v 10: For too long I have been zealous

• v 1,2,3: My life threatened

• v 10.14: People of God have rejected me

• v 10b,14b:I am alone

• v 4: Need to go where my father’s have gone

God Intervenes - - Four Principles

Principle #1:God cares before He cures

Principle #3:Reconnect with community of faith
