Chemical composition

CONTRIPON AO is a highly effective antioxidizing agent which is stable to heat. Even usedin small amounts CONTRIPON AO prevents the formation of Chrome (VI) which can becaused by the autoxidation processes of natural fats.

CONTRIPON AO is added to the fatliquoring mixture and it should be homogeneously stirredbefore emulsifying. Due to the heat resistance of CONTRIPON AO an effective prevention ofChrome (VI) is also guaranteed after a heat ageing (24 hours at 80°C).

The application of CONTRIPON AO offers an additional safety together with the alreadyknown measures in order to prevent Chrome (VI).
