CONTENTS PAGE FIRST DRAFT

I started the contents page by adding a gradient overlay to the background, I then added in a blue box for the text about the competition.

I then added in some rectangles and made the corners less prominent making them into long eclipses, I made them black with a turquoise border. I will use white text on top of this.

I moved the photo of Emily across and moved it to the side where her leg and shoe could be hidden behind the eclipses. I also went back onto ‘da font’ and using the same font as the front cover I typed ‘this week’, I then edited the background out before I included it into the contents page.

Next I added in all the text about the contents page and a white circle with a turquoise boarder for the image of Martha.

I added in the picture of Martha inside the circle and typed in the competition details which includes the date, the website and all the information about the prizes, this will attract a lot of the audience to the magazine and digital natives.

This is the last thing I added to the contents page and gives the reader an overview of what will be included in the magazine. I like how this overlaps the blue corner and how it matches with the title of the page.
