- The first steps, such as creation of LOC and acquisition of the
support from the institutional, public, academic and governmental
authorities, have already been taken within the framework of the
preparation of the candidacy bid for IAGA 2017. The involved
institutions have already started the discussion about the
preselected congress topic. The appointed LOC is ready to start
assisting to the IAGA with all further requirements regarding the

access by all means of public transport. In 2011 Ruzyne was honored

maximum travel time from e.g. Moscow or Lisbon is 2.5 hours. Prague
is suitably connected to the national highway system further
interconnected with road nets of all neighboring countries. The
