Sam is looking for posters to cover the walls in his room. He finds one poster that is 50 cm by 50 cm. He finds another that is 21 cm by 67 cm.

Find the area of each poster. Compare the area of the first poster to the are of the second using a ratio. Do you notice anything about the ratio you made?

If you want to enlarge a 3 inch wide by 4 inches long photo to be 9 inches wide, how long will the length be?
