“whAT IS IT TO bECOME A MAN TOdAy ?”

Congrats! is a crew of young men. While we are at an age where identities get conflicted and mixed up, society expects us to find where we belong in or-der to clearly identify us when we become adults. But what does becoming a man really mean today (if you think out of the patriarchal family structure that society imposes on us)? Congrats! tries to piece together an answer to that question so we can emancipate ourselves from this mold we are expected to fit into, so that we can live our lives with more freedom and more choice in what we want to become. We want to watch as our youth unfolds, a youth that needs nothing but to be itself in order to express its thirst for life. As we want this thirst to continue defining who we are, we thought the time was right to create this magazine, so that we could discuss subjects that seem to correspond to what being a young man means, without imposing ourselves as guides. You can see us as the corner of a table, a cigarette break or a chat window where you can discuss anything you want, whether it is serious or not. for all this reasons... CONGRATS!

The CONGRATS! Team is a group of eight boys at the initiative of CONGRATS! Magazine, a bi-annual editorial project destined to male youth raising the question «What is it, to become a man today?»
