What is the Broker Portal?
• Its a special Workspace that resides in ClientSpace• Its shared by all Brokers• Secured so Agents can see only their RFPs• Great way to capture leads• Provides Agents with instant pricing• Can be configured with workflow too• Provide Agents to ad-hoc reports, merges, company
documents, and even custom Dataforms
ePricing Console
• The ePricing Console is the main interface for Agents• “e” is for Enhanced• It’s the original Pricing Console re-designed with the Broker
in mind• Streamlined to see commonly used information in an easy to
understand way• Still uses the same familiar Client Master header• Codes and State information can be edited quickly using the
new Quick Edit dialog
ePricing Console
• Can optionally turn on rights to add additional WC Codes• Plenty of security options to fit any PEO’s needs• A new prospect workspace is created simply by
entering a Company Legal Name and saving.
Accessing The Broker Portal
THE AGENT• Simply log in to
ClientSpace using their own username and password• Their user profile redirects
them to the Broker Portal workspace automatically
THE PEO• Access from the
Workspace Search dashboard.• Only need to access for
setting up and configuring the workspace.
It’s Already Turned On
• The Broker Portal is already turned on with the basic configuration already set.• No one PEO uses it exactly like another, so some
configuration is necessary.• Special attention should be given to security
configurations.• Use the Broker_member and Broker_admin roles to
manage security.
Default Information Setup
• How will new RFPs be assigned?• Set the Assign Broker Deals to Sales Rep checkbox• Or, set the Broker Manager field
• Set the Auto create Agent Sales Entity Record dropdown to Yes if managing commission records
Configuration Considerations
• Header Links• Org Fields• Dataforms• Dataform Fields• Quick Edit
• Always assume an Agent to test• Generally, Agents will
have similar access to Internal Sales Users
Creating a Broker
• Add a new Organization• Company Name• Assigned To = the person responsible for this Broker
Relationship• Status = “N/A”• Category = “Broker”• Optionally complete other Org fields
Creating AgentsFrom The Organization• From the Contacts tab add a contact record• First name, Last name and Email Address are required• Optionally, configure other contact fields
• Use Create Portal Users link
Creating Broker Agentsfrom the Broker Portal• Primary Agents can add new Agents• From Broker Portal• Click “Agents” on TOC• Click “Add” button• Complete First, Last, and Email.
• Hide the Agent link in the TOC to disable this feature.
Sales Entities Defaults /Commission Setup• If using Sales Entities to manage commission
details:• Configure existing or add an Agent level record• Optionally, add a Broker level record
• Profitability on the ePricing Console will show total External Commissions
