Computer Network Specialist

Job Description

• Setting up computer workstations and installing network software

• Monitoring the network from the central server

• Maintaining the Server by adding and deleting files/accounts form the server

• Teaching staff members to use the network

• Handle security issues and make off-site systems for emergencies

Times To Work During The Week

• 40 hr work per week although overtime is possible

• 5 day job

• About 8 hour job per day

Earnings ($)

• 30,000 to 100,000 per year or more

• Depends on location, years of experience and education

• Self-employed specialists are paid depending on their contract

Education and Training

• A bachelors degree or diploma

• Relevant work experience with computer science and networking
