Summer Lunches• Free summer meals for kids 18 and younger• Served June-August, Mon-Fri, 11:30-12:30p• Subsidized by USDA• Volunteer operated in lunchroom

Senior Lunch Outreach• Started in March 2009• Connects shut-in seniors & disabled with 8th

grade students from GM Jr High• Students matched with volunteer driver and

deliver hot meal• 2009 – funded 100% by donor• 2010 & 2011 – recipient pays $1 of $2.75 meal

Marty DuBoe-Muncy Scholarship• Began in early 2009• Desire of Marty’s to provide opportunities for

children to participate in recreational sports• In collaboration with the Groveport Recreation

Center• Free lunch – 75%, Reduced lunch – 50%• In 2009 distributed $864 for 25 children or

$35/child

Other Current Activities• Summer Concert Series• Giving Thanks Choral Concert – Sunday before

Thanksgiving• Book & Garage Sale• Apple Butter Day vendor• Poverty Simulation• Waffle House Spirit Night – 1st Friday month
