University of Chester• We are a separate company to the University, although we clearly

work very closely together.

• Chester Student’ Union resource and manage over 105 sports teams and societies.

• The sports and societies teams are referred to as the University of Chester teams, and indeed wear their logo alongside ours in recognition of partnership working.

• The teams are all student led with student elected committees which are supported by our experienced staff members.

Student Activities TeamWhat is it? • The Student Activities Team is the central

point for all sports and societies groups. • Offering training, support and guidance on all

areas of student activities, it should be your first port of call with any queries or difficulties you encounter along the way.

Student Activities TeamWhat does it do? • The Student Activities Team helps to co-

ordinate clu bs and societies. • It organises travel for sport/trips, orders items

for clubs/societies (e.g. kit, equipment), holds information relating to finances, deals with all BUCS sport issues and helps with any other queries.
