“In this fourth and final voyage along the coasts of Sicily, the reader is led to the

discovery of a magnificient land enriched by old architectures and the

stories of the people who inhabited the island over the centuries.

Sicily, among the islands of Mediterranean Sea is a very charming land.

Its seas and its coasts have always represented at the same time departure and arrival, destiny and

fatality, beginning and end for sailors and migrants.

Its lighthouses among the most numerous and extraordinary ones belong to a variegated

heritage of signallings under the Italian Navy Sicily Zone Lighthouses Service.
