DEMOCRATIC ELECTIONS

Every year there are elections in every school for the Student Council, so

as any student have the chance to participate.

Who can do it? The answer is simple - anyone!

Student Council is the perfect choice for democracy.

It gives to anyone the opportunity to participate in the elections

You can do partnerships with different institutions and NPOs

You can do any educational project you want

It gives the opportunity to take the initiative

ENABLING THE ELECTIONS

THROUGH DEBATE

How do we identify the problems?

How do we find solutions?

How do we asses targets?

How do we understand the real democratic concepts?

KEEP CALM... JUST DEBATE!

Adopting the British pattern of making choices, we create the Debate Club ANTIPA DEZBATE! .

So why should we debate?

It helps you to understand the problems from more than one point of view.

It makes you feel more confident talking in public.

It develops analytical thinking.

It is promoting team working.

It makes you more convincing.

ANTIPA DEZBATE!

MEETINGS

COMPETITIONS

WE DO

PROJECTS!

We candidate, we are chosen, we debate, we

find problems, we analyze them, we convince

the others, we make partnerships…

But then?

And the most important thing…

We apply them!

Does it

look hard? Have a look on what we did the last year in

our school through the Student Council:

Willpower

Patience

Team

“An apple and a candy for

a cigarette”

The activity took place in the Brasov centre and

it consisted in talking to people and asking

smokers to give up to their cigarettes at least for

an hour, in exchange of an apple or a candy.

It had a strong impact on teenagers, especially.

Some of them extinguish their cigarettes right in

front of us and they had been perceptive to our

information about the harmful effects of smoking.

Incubator 107

FaceYourBook

It was a ten-week-personal-development project.

The students were encouraged to share relevant

information about themselves by non-verbal

language and think about him through the others’

eyes.

Every participant had the chance to discover his

strong and weak points and their passions. And

they were also asked to make a project which

would represent them.

24 January

The Unification Day

Grigore Antipa Student Council

whished to bring the importance of

the past and future in the attention of

the students by celebrating a

memorable day from the Romanian

history with the others citizens.

Charity Show

In Memoriam Balan Danut

The show was created in

partnership with the County

Student Council from Brasov and

Youth for Youth.

The show was at the second edition

and it’s aim was to raise funds for

”Raza de lumina”, a centre for blind

kids.
