Why Fundraise? Because…

• Chapter Groups/Sections/Committees/Task Forces need funds to operate.

• Our Political and Conservation Committees need

funds to do their work.

• It takes a lot of money to support the Angeles Chapter and its many commitments to members and to SoCal communities.

Angeles Chapter Some Expenses

• Communications: websites, Schedule of Activities, SoCal Now, printing, mailing and more.

• Office Operations, Conservation, Political Action

• Outings Management: Insurance, Assemblies, Leadership, supplies and more

• Membership Allocation, bequests, Intra chapter donations, Appeals and bequests

Who Organizes Our Adventures? Chapter Sponsoring Entities

• Crescenta Valley Group, Verdugo Hills Group, Sierra Sage Group of South Orange County and Orange County Sierrans Section are the main sponsors.

• These entities provide the leaders, publicity sources, core participants and financial support.

Benefits of Co-Sponsoring Sponsor With the Angeles Chapter

• 75% of income from a Travel Adventure goes to support the Chapter.

• Entities retain 25% of income earned to support their entity.

• The Chapter provides an enormous amount of publicity resources to ensure the success of the entities trip.
