Psychology Major

Start With:

• PSYC 100 - General Psychology

• PSYC 200 – Fundamentals of Psychological Science

• PSYC 212 – Intro to Diversity and Ethics in Psychology

Then choose:

• One course from 3 of the 4 Core Content Areas

• (Areas I, II, III and IV)

• 10 credits of Psychology electives

PSYC 312 “Research Methods” – register for this after PSYC 200. It is

recommended to take this half-way through your major.

PSYC 405 “History and Systems of Psychology” - It is recommended

to take this at the end of your major/last semester.

“Application of Knowledge” – It is recommended to take this at the

end of your major/last semester.

Application of Knowledge

Experiential learning is a vital component of the Psychology degree

Completed at the end of your program/last semester

You will take the 1-credit PSYC 407 course that will help prepare

you for completing “Application of Knowledge”.
