Nail Point Types
Nail Collation Types
DIAMOND
The most common and easiest drive. The diamond point can, however, contribute to splitting in some applications.
CONICAL
Ideal for penetrating steel. Used on nails in steel framed construction.
SHEAR POINT
Helps to reduce the splitting encountered with diamond point fasteners.
BLUNT CHISEL
Almost eliminates timber splitting. Not suitable for clinching applications.
COIL NAILS: Plastic collated – 15 degree and 0 degree
Genuine no-flag nailing system for cleaner, better looking jobs. Ensures positive delivery of nail every time.
STRIP NAILS: Pro-Strip Paper Tape
No collation material is left on the job site.
STRIP NAILS: Duo-Fast Round Head Strip Nails
The system enables round head nails to be collated for 20 degree strip nailers.
STRIP NAILS: T Head Nails
Typically these nails are constructed from a band or wire. The nails are covered in a glue to help protect them from separating.

Finish Description Class
Bright • Un-plated
Zinc Plated/Electroplated
• Simplest and cheapest method of providing limited corrosion resistance
Electro Galv • Very common and economic method of providing moderate corrosion resistance
Dacrotised • Polymer coating used to bond zinc flakes to the nail surface
Hot Dip Galvanised
• Most widely accepted method providing long term corrosion resistance
• Product is cleaned and then dipped into a bath of molten zinc
Mechanically Galvanised
• Highly effective method of providing long term corrosion resistance whilst maintaining a high quality appearance
• Nails are coated with zinc by peening
Stainless Steel • Nails are manufactured from stainless steel wire.
• For use in extreme environments where corrosion resisance is imperative.
A polymer or glue coating is applied to the nail shank. This coating performs two functions: Reduces driving force to enable fasteners to be driven using less energy or be driven deeper and greatly increases the resistance to withdrawal.
Corrosion Classes
Class 1: For internal useClass 2: For internal use where significant levels of condensation occurs.Class 3: For external use in mild industrial and moderate marine applications.Class 4: For external use in moderate and severe marine environments (generally from 100m to 300m from the beach front).

Paslode™ Impulse Cordless Lithium-Ion FrameMaster PowerVent Nail Gun
Paslode™’s Impulse Gas Technology Tools have created a faster and safer method of working on site by eliminating the need to carry heavy air compressors and air hoses.
A new innovation on all Paslode™ Li-ION tools is the addition of an On / Off Battery Position. This increases battery charging life and prevents disengaged batteries dropping from the tool. The On / Off position also saves the cost of replacement batteries and improves work-site safety.
• The Tradie’s choice for all general framing applications.
• Increase power - to eliminate standing nails in harder wood types
• Optimal performance in extreme weather
• Longer run time battery - 9,000 shots per charge
