Find character traits and proof from the story for either Kate and the Boy. Turn the information you find into a paragraph.  The format should look like this.

In the story "Coffee, Snacks, Worms", Kate is __________ and __________ etc.  When Kate does ..... it shows that she is ____________.  Continue on with your next bits of proof and link to the trait.Your last sentence should wrap up the paragraph ­ provide a final thought. It should take about eight sentences to get this done thoroughly.

Character Traits ­ turning them into a paragraph answer. This will lead to a character sketch essay in future years.

Plot Graph

Do a plot graph of one of the conflicts from the story. Either person versus person: Kate versus the Boy, or person versus self:  Kate and her acceptance of her home.
