SNOWBIRDS Fly High For Excellence
Hello VandenBos Team! We can't believe how incredibly busy and dedicated ostudents, staff and community are. Our walkthroughs have confirmed that thteaching and learning at VandenBos is the number one focus. Not only are thclassrooms alive with curious learners, but student leadership, music, drama, aand athletics fill the hallways with VandenBos talent and spirit. Everyone here 'Flying High with Excellence.' Two more months of school before summvacation arrives, however, here at CMV, we are in full swing. Students and staare working hard to consolidate the skills and knowledge that are required for thegrade level to best prepare our students for the next grade. This is especially trufor our students in grade three and six, as they prepare for the annual provinciassessment in May/J une. We continue to encourage all students to complete thedaily assignments to the best of their ability, and to read for pleasure as much apossible. This is particularly important for our grade eight students as they havtheir sights set on high school. There are several exciting events planned for ostudents in May and June, so please read the newsletters carefully, check yochild's agenda for notices and refer to the Durham District School Board calendfor key dates to remember.
We are proud to be Snowbirds and are so grateful to be working with your dynamic, respectful and dedicated students each and every day.-The CMV Staff
