I was in the marketing department, under
supervision of Ruthie Millar, Internal Marketing Specialist

• The lotus flower highlights the pastoral setting visible across the Clemson Downs campus.
• Orange and purple reflect ties with Clemson University • The purple accents are only visible when the orange petals converge,
creating four pillars, while different, overlap and build in common community themes of wellness, friendliness and purposeful community.

Students came to Clemson Downs to record Veterans and hear their stories.

Living resident apartment

Life Legacies ProjectEach Wednesday during my time at Clemson Downs, Dr. Stephanie Pangborn’s Clemson University Communications class would visit residents to record their life legacy. My role was to facilitate this
arrangement and assure that the project runs smoothly each week by visiting students at the residents apartments.

Video Project
Created video to be shown at State of Clemson put on by the Clemson Chamber of
Commerce on February 16, 2016
Formatted using iMovie software, the video contains 50+ picture slide show with background music and video
of residents singing “Dear Old Clemson” at the
conclusion.

Throughout the semester, I posted on the Clemson Downs at least once a week, displaying the activities and events going on
everyday on the Clemson Downs campus.
Reflection • Looking back on the semester, I have
learned a variety of skills and gained real world experiences that I can use in my future career
• I would love to pursue a career in marketing in a larger organization than Clemson Downs
