PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR SUGGESTIONS FOR TOPICS FOR FUTURE MISA MEETINGS

“A broad scope of what positions we can go into. What should we as students learn about the business/organization when we have an internship or full time job, regardless of what position we are in? (i.e., business process, business value, etc.). Meetings on current and future classes we will have in MIS or other related tech/business class. We could have speakers come into talk about the different positions that come out of those classes. It's important to also know about what companies are looking for when they hire IT/IS students for an internship and full time position.”

“Certifications in industry, networking with others, group sessions to advance knowledge (like hacKSU does now), tutoring sessions available to those in need of help in CIS related classes, a group project that is CIS related??, more tours of companies, group think sessions”

“Life after graduation and transitioning from student to professional. If possible, scheduling the MISA meetings when they aren't any CIS classes during that time.”
