Behaviors • Studies show that attitude change is the leading force behind
long term behavioral changes but attitude follows behaviors. Behavioral change appears to be related to level of self efficacy and understanding of the process, therefore, in order to change attitude, one must make sure the client understands behaviors and feel empowered to engage in different behaviors or stop current ones.(1)
