high quality religious icon painting from the Middle Ages.

Anthestiria• The Festival is a celebration of spring and flowers. In

Larnaka a parade of floats and decorations are held annually in May along "the Phinikoudes" the lovely palm-lined seafront promenade.

Easter• During there is a daily service of the church at dusk,

when a special hymn to Our Lady called "Hairetismoi" is sung

• Easter is the biggest party of all.

Larnaka Festival• Is one of the main cultural events in Cyprus

withgreat performances, theater and dance with famous international artists.

Limassol Wine Festival• Limassol Wine Festival. At the end of August is a fun

time to be inLimassol, because the Limassol Wine Festival is held in the Municipal Garden of town along the seafront near the old town.
