2005 to 2013 OPERATIONS
In eight years, CDRS has managed621,473 documented patient contacts
spending $2,100,000 (USD)(about $3.38 average cost per patient contact)
with ZERO funds spent on personal security, luxury, expensive vehicles, excessive salaries,
or other unnecessary costs
EARTHQUAKE 2005
Todd Shea was deployed to Pakistanwith a group of Pakistani American
doctorsa few days after the earthquake
Todd worked closely with many charitable organizations, the Pakistani
military and the U.S. Helicopter Fleet to bring in doctors, medicines, supplies
and aid
Todd managed
logistics for the doctors and put together a team of young people from the local villages who became the core CDRS team After the
emergency, the team went on to help rebuild AJK’s destroyed healthcare system, managing 416,241 patient contacts in 6 years
SWAT IDP CRISIS 2009
CDRS partnered with doctors from Ayub Medical College, Edhi Foundation and UM Healthcare Hospital in Mardan to provide healthcare to the displaced citizens of Swat
CDRS mobile medical teams provided free
healthcare and medicines to 25,116
patient contacts
GREAT FLOOD 2010
CDRS collaborated with UM Healthcare, IMANA, GDRO, IDSP, AYUB Medical College and many other fine organizations to deliver aid and deploy mobile medical teams in: Dasu (Kohistan) Swat, Charsadda and
Nowshera (KPK) Khairpur, Shikarpur,
Sukkur, Hyderabad and Thatta (Sindh)
Sibi and Jafarabad (Balochistan)
From July 2010 to December 31, 2012 CDRS managed 149,397 patient contacts
in areas affected by the 2010 floods
CDRS also provided flood victims with water, food, hygiene items and tents along with livelihood redevelopment initiatives
THAR DESERT FLOOD 2011
CDRS provided mobile medical teams to the Thar Desert, Tando Allahyar and Mirpurkhas area and distributed food in Badin
The CDRS mobile medical team provided free
medical treatment and medicines to 8,775
patients
KASUR FLOOD MISSION 2013
CDRS deployed a mobile medical team to District Kasur in collaboration with Medical Aid to Pakistan UK and Global Disaster Relief Organization
The mission provided free medical care
and medicines to 1,757 patients
CURRENT PROJECTS
SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAM
CDRS gives health and hope by providing the following services for primary students, their mothers and their younger siblings at schools, orphanages and programs for street children:
Basic health screenings
Health & hygiene classes
Mental health counseling
Health skits, music and refreshments
CDRS also provides community health information and basic first aid instruction for teachers and parents

CDRS found Shabana in Charsadda during the 2010
flood mission. She had been burned badly and could not walk, run or even sit up properly and wasn’t able to go to school. Now she does all of these activities and wants to
work with CDRS someday to help other kids
Junaid was injured after being buried in the rubble of the 2005 earthquake. CDRS
provides for his physical therapy and pays the school
fees for Junaid and his brothers and sisters. Now he
is a happy and confident little boy
HOME RECONSTRUCTION IN SINDH WITH HUM TV
CDRS is working with HUM TV Foundationto construct 100 houses for families who lost their homes during floods in Mirwah Gorchani, a village near Mirpurkhas in Interior Sindh
MOTHER & CHILD HEALTH CENTER NORTHERN SWAT
CDRS began operating in Swat with mobile medical
teams during the 2010 Great Flood when the only nearby medical
facility was completely washed away
We are very fortunate to have Brigadier Azam
Effendi (Ret.) as our local partner. He is a man of
great integrity, honesty, courage and dedication, working tirelessly for his
community and all Humanity
In 2013, an average of 1,350 children, women and men received primary,
emergency and preventive healthcare services every month
From September 2010 to December 2013,CDRS has managed 60,911 patient visits atthe Swat Mother and Child Health Center
For the first time, communities in Northern Swat have: Access to primary
care, mother-child health services and regular visits by medical specialists
24 hour emergency treatment, referral and ambulance services
Clean and hygienic ward and facilities
Fully stocked pharmacy, x-ray unit, laboratory, incubator, baby warmer, ECG machine, oxygen and nebulizer
JSMU CDRS COLLABORATION
IN SWAT 2012-2013
Third and fourth year students of Jinnah Sindh Medical University from Karachi have visited our Swat mission for the last two years to learn and to serve Humanity with CDRS
The JSMU students assisted with our response to the 2013 Dengue Fever Outbreak in Swat
