Assembling

1. Insertthebodyoftheshampooerintothebaseandsecureintoplacewiththescrewsprovided.

2. Insertthehandleintobodyoftheshampooerensuringthatthehandleispointingbackwards.Secureintoplacewiththescrewprovided.

3. InserttheCleanWaterTankintothebodyoftheshampooerensuringitclicksintoplace.Yourshampooerisnowfullyassembled.

IMPORTANT! The appliance should be switched off and disconnected from the power supply before you start to assemble.

Preparing the Carpet

IMPORTANT: Do not use the shampooer as a dry vacuum.1. Vacuumcarpetedsurfaces

thoroughly.Useavacuumcleanerwithapowerbrushforbestresults.

2. Removeasmuchfurniturefromtheroomaspossible.Forfurniturethatcannotberemovedplaceplasticorfoilunderandaroundthelegsofthefurnitureandonlyremovewhenthecarpethasdried

completely.

HELPFUL HINTS FOR CLEANING CARPET1. Onlyusealowfoamsolutionwith

thisshampooer.

2. Do notoversaturatethecarpetwithcleaningsolutionwhileusingtheshampooer.

3. Forheavilysoiledareas,additionalapplicationsmaybenecessary.

4. Allowplentyoftimetodrythecarpetthoroughly.

5. Ifcleaningsolutioncomesintocontactwithwoodfurnitureorwoodenmaterial,immediatelywipeawaytoavoiddamage.

6. Oncethecarpethasbeencleanedwiththeshampooeravoidwalkingonthecarpetuntilithascompletelydried.

7. Beforeyoustartcleaningwiththeshampooer,determinewheretostartandendtoavoidwalkingon

previouslycleanedareas.

CHECK FOR COLOUR FASTNESSBeforeyoubegincleaningthecarpet,testforcolourfastness.Dampenawhiteclothwithsolution.Testasmallcarpetedareainacloset.Gentlyrubtheclothoverthearea.

Checkforcolourbleeding.Iftheclothremainsclean,itshouldbesafetoclean

thecarpet.

AFTER CLEANING1. Allowcarpettodrycompletely.

Trynottowalkonthecarpetuntilithasthoroughlydried.

2. Ifyourequiretowalkonthecarpetwhichhasbeenrecentlycleanedwiththeshampooer,placewhitetowelsontheareastobewalkedon.

3. Ifthecarpethasnotdriedandthefurnituremustbeplacedbackintotheroom,placeplasticorfoilunderthefurnituretopreventstainingthecarpet.

4. Thoroughlycleanthedirtywatertankwithwarm(max40°C)tapwater.

Instruction for UseIMPORTANT! The appliance should be switched off and disconnected from the power supply. Never operate without filters as this can cause damage to the shampooer.

1. ToremovetheCleanWaterTank,holdthehandleandpresstheCleanWaterTankReleaseButton.

2. Unscrewthemeasuringcapfromthereversesideofthecleanwatertank.Fillmeasuringcapwithsolution(onefullcapofsolutionperfulltankofwater)andpourintothetank.

3. FilltheremainderoftheCleanWaterTankwithwarm(max40ºC)tapwater.Screwbackthemeasuringcap.

4. InserttheCleanWaterTankintothebodyoftheshampooerensuringitclicksintoplace.

IMPORTANT! Never leave the appliance unattended with the power switched on. Turn off the appliance and disconnect the power cord from the power supply before emptying and filling the tanks. Do not oversaturate the carpet.

5. Plugthepowersocketintothepowersupply.TurnontheappliancebyusingtheOn/OffButtonlocatedonthesideoftheshampooer.

IMPORTANT! Ensure that the power cord is secured into the Cable Hock, as shown.

6. StepontotheFootReleasePedaltoputtheapplianceintocleaningposition.Whiledepressingthesolutionspraytrigger,pullshampooerinabackwardmotion.Releasethetriggerandpushtheapplianceforwardinthesamepathtocleanandremovedirtywaterandsolutionfromcarpet.

7. WhenthedirtywatertankisfullpresstheDirtyWaterTankReleaseLatchandremovethetankfromthebaseusingthehandle.

8. Unscrewthedirtywatertankcaptoemptythetank.Rinsethetankandscrewbackthedirtywatertankcap.InserttheDirtyWaterTankintothebaseoftheshampooerensuringitclicksintoplace.OPEN

IMPORTANT! For best cleaning results use a steady, moderate, forward and backward motion. Always work from back to front across the room to avoid stepping on wet carpet and lowering the carpet pile.

10.

MaintenanceWhenyouhavefinishedcleaningremovetheDirtyWaterTankandrinsewithwarmwater,thenallowittodrybeforestorage.Alsoremovethefilter(asshown)rinsewithwarmwaterandallowittodrythoroughlybeforestoring.

1. RemovetheDirtyWaterTankfromtheshampooer.

2. Removethefilterfromthewatertankandrinsewithwarmwaterandallowittodrythoroughlybeforereinstalling.

IMPORTANT! Do not use any chemicals when cleaning the filter.Note: Do not store the shampooer with solution in the Clean Water Tank or dirty water in the Dirty Water Tank. Mineral deposits and mildew can form and will affect the performance of the shampooer.
