• To help busy Pharmacy owners connect with their community and customers through social media channels

• Promote the Pharmacy and offerings• Listen to the customer’s needs• Build a relationship with the customers

Program Overview - Build Facebook & Twitter Profiles for Participating Pharmacies

• Need “Cardinal Health Pharmacy Facebook & Twitter Profile Form” sheets filled out to start

• Facebook• Existing FB Page: Need admin access to Facebook pages that

already exist. Add PharmaSupport@WebbedMarketing.com as admin

• To create new FB page: Need person’s name, email address, business name and info

• Twitter• Existing FB Page: Need Login/Password for Twitter profiles

that already exist• To create a new FB page: Need desired username and email

to link with profile

Facebook Content Modules• Participating Pharmacies can choose to have an automated

“feed” (RSS Feed) of health information on their Facebook page wall

• Review “Cardinal Health Pharmacy RSS Feeds” list

• Chose one that will automatically update your page

Monthly Educational Webinars

• 30-60 minute webinars every month about using Facebook & Twitter to help educate the Pharmacies.

• Pharmacies can ask specific questions and learn new techniques and ways to use their networks.

• Webinars will be recorded and made available to the Pharmacies.

Ongoing Support

• Participating pharmacies can email PharmaSupport@WebbedMarketing.com with Facebook and Twitter support questions that need answered

• All Facebook and Twitter profile and login information should also be sent to this email address

FACEBOOK OVERVIEW

Facebook Components• Profile – Personal profile belonging to a person• “Bill Balderaz”

• Page – Business page belonging to a company• “Webbed Marketing”

Facebook Components• Newsfeed – What you see when you log into Facebook.

Updates from people who are friends and pages you like.

• Wall – Both profiles and pages have walls. This is where updates & interactions take place. The newsfeed is an aggregation of walls.

Facebook Components• Like – Liking something on Facebook gives that content more

credit & visibility. Pages, wall posts, comments, photos and videos can all be liked.

• Comment – A response or reply to content shared on Facebook.

• Share – Share a friend’s or page’s content with your own network. Used to help spread content to more people. Similar to Retweet

TWITTER OVERVIEW

Twitter Components • Profile – Your Twitter identity. Consists of your username, bio

and location.

• Followers – Profiles that follow you on Twitter.

• Friends/Following – Profiles you follow on Twitter.

Twitter Components• Tweet – An update sent out from a Twitter profile.

• Timeline – An aggregation of tweets from the people you follow.

• Hashtag (#) - Tool used to mark keywords or topics in a tweet as a way to categorize messages, especially for events.

• Retweet – Allows you to quickly share a Tweet with your own followers. Similar to Facebook Share.

HOW TO USE FACEBOOK & TWITTER

How to Access Facebook and Twitter• Facebook

• Go to Facebook.com to login• To get to your Page start typing in name if page in search box, click

when visible.

• Twitter• Go to Twitter.com or a 3rd party tool (Hootsuite, TweetDeck) to login• Start updating and interacting!

How to Connect / Build a Network• Facebook

• Search for pages of interest and Like them• Watch for links to Facebook pages on websites you visit, like them• Then start liking, commenting on and sharing their content

• Twitter• Use Twitter search (www.search.twitter.com) or Twitter directories

(Twellow, WeFollow) to find relevant profile to follow. • Look for opportunities to engage new followers (ask/answer

questions, Retweet)

How Interactions Happen• Facebook

• Interactions can be a like, comment, wall post, share, tag• Encourage fans to interact on your wall and be sure to respond to

comments• The more interactions a page or post has the more visible it will be on

Facebook.• Remember to check your Facebook notifications

How Interactions Happen• Twitter

• Interactions on Twitter can be a follow, reply/mention, retweet• Be sure to respond to all Twitter mentions and thank retweets• Follow back all new relevant followers• Remember to check for mentions and direct messages
