FireworksFireworks are banned. In order to provide safe, eco-friendlyand quiet grounds, we prohibit all fireworks.

PetsPets are welcome. As acourtesy to all, we ask thatpets are kept out of theswimming area, leashed,cleaned up after and keptoff the furniture. In order torecover the cost associatedwith pets, there is a one-time per-visit charge. One chargecovers up to 2 pets. Due to the competition for food betweendogs, guests’ pets are not allowed at the Monday nightpicnic.

Boats, Kayaks, CanoeA boat for your exclusive use is provided on Lake Everett. Adock is shared with the cabin next door. We keep additionalboats on Lake Delta for cabin guests to share. You arewelcome to bring your own boat and/or motor. Motors andextra boats are also available for rent. There are 9 kayaks anda canoe on premise for guests to share. We provide PFDs.

You are welcome to use them - just get in and go. The kayaksare river kayaks with a wide mouth, which allows for a childor pet to sit in front of the kayaker.

Cancellation PolicyUpon confirmation, THE GUEST IS RESPONSIBLE FORTHE FULL LENGTH OF THE RESERVATION. Cancellationsmade more than 30 days prior to arrival will be refunded infull if we are able to rent the cabin to another guest duringyour confirmed time at the same price. Cancellations madeless than 30 days prior to arrival will be subject to acancellation fee.

If we are able to rent the cabinto another guest during yourconfirmed time at the sameprice, the balance of yourdeposit, less the minimumcharge, will be refunded.Guests make reservationsmonths in advance. Lastminute cancellations usuallyresult in losing a portion or allof your deposit.

The History of Delta LodgeIn the late 1940s, Wesand Iva (“Ike”)Rhinehart moved intoan old two-story house(the “Animal House”)on a pristine glaciallake in the heart of theforest. They lived onthe first floor and rented out rooms on the second floor tovacationers. During their 25 years of ownership, they builtnine cabins and the lodge, which included a bar and whitetablecloth restaurant. The bar area is now a game room:board games, pool table, dartboard, juke box and WiFi.

The Rhineharts had avision for whatvacationers (then andnow) want in a cabin: lakefrontage, large windows,spacious interiors, well-kept grounds and a mainlodge in which to escapecabin fever. This vision hastranscended generations, as the children of yesteryear areintroducing their children and grandchildren to nature,recreation and relaxation in the forest.

Marilyn and AndyEinspanier haveowned/managed DeltaLodge since 1990.

During our ownershipwe have updated thegrounds and cabinsand built new cabins(#11, #12 and Hillside),in the tradition of Wesand Ike. We enjoyvacationers and theirfour-legged familymembers. We offer ourknowledge of the area:hiking trails, mountainbike trails, fishing maps,touring the Apostle Islands, area waterfalls,antique/art/craft shops, wineries and restaurants.

Cabin InformationThe kitchen is completelyfurnished with a range andrefrigerator, coffee makerand toaster. The kitchen iswell stocked with pots,pans, dishes, utensils, etc.There is a standard bath.The living room includes a sleeper sofa and cushionedchairs. Every cabin has a screened porch. A weber-styleoutdoor grill is provided. We provide the bed linens. Pleasebring your own bath and kitchen towels/bath soaps.

There are campfire pits throughout the grounds. Weprovide firewood.

The listed rate accommodates two guests per bedroom.There is a charge for each additional guest - 2 max per cabin.When calculating the persons, infants and young childrenare included. In the quest to provide a good experience forall persons in your group, we urge you to respect the twoguests per bedroom rating. You are creating memories onthis vacation – make them positive ones.

While there are no TVs in the cabin, WiFi is on premise in thegame room and near the office.

Unique CabinsThe six-bedroom, two-bath, “Animal House” is the originallodge building, predating 1900. No amount of loving touchup will restore this old dame to the lass she used to be. A fewsteps above camping, the Animal House accommodates upto 12 people.

Cabins #11, #12 and Hillside were built by the Einspaniers.The cathedral ceilingand expansivewindows bring theoutdoors inside.Also included:washer/dryer, 2ndhalf bath (2 full baths- Hillside), gasfireplace, deck andscreened porch. Hillside and #12 have a sauna. There arethree bedrooms in each cabin. The loft functions as a fourthbedroom. Rated for up to 8 persons. Note: Hillside overlooksthe lake with a great view of the lakes and trees – especially prettyin the fall. Hillside has a larger screened porch and more expansiveinterior than #11 or #12.

VisitorsWhile it seems like a nice gesture to invite friends to visityou while you are at Delta Lodge, you can imagine theburden this would create if everyone invited extra people.The quiet beauty Delta Lodge offers would not be so quietnor so beautiful. Non-registered visitors must be pre-approved by the owners.
