WHAT IS A WOLVERINE?

Wolverines live in the Arctic and subarctic, in grasslands, Alpine forests, taiga, boreal forests and tundra of Europe, Asia, and in North America in the northern latitudes. Wolverines prefer to live in the colder regions because they use the snow for making their dens or caves. The territory of a wolverine is guarded by the male and he uses his terrible stink to fend off other animals and only the female is allowed to enter.

WHERE DO WOLVERINES LIVE?

Wolverines are omnivores so they eat both meat and vegetation although wolverines do prefer meat and will go great distances to get it. They will even go 24 kilomiteres in a 24 hour period and will even eat dead animals they did not kill. Some of the things wolverines love to eat are: moose, mountian goat, squirrels, rodents, birds eggs and berries.

WHAT DO WOLVERINES EAT?

Wolverines are polygamous this means that males wi l l mate with several females. They mate from May to August. After mating the female creates a den for her young. These dens are often 15 feet deep. The female gives bi rth to at least 2 to 3 each year. Most young are born inbetween Febuary and mid March.

BREEDING

My opinion is that I think wolverines are in a way very cute looking but also capaple of more than any animal its size and I credit the wolverine for showing such bravery and wish that I had such bravery.
