7 Wonders

Statue of Zeus in Olympia

This wonder is a statue of a god,Zeus. The Anthenian sculptor Pheidias it sculpted it as a ‘sacred’ task. This statue is located in the ancient town of Olympia, on the west coast of modern Greece, about 150 Km west of Athens. This is a wonder to me because I love ancient history, including gods like Zeus. Zeus is my favorite god, it’s a wonder how any one back in that time could make something like that.

Colosseum

The Colosseum is the most famous monument of Ancient Rome,Emperor Vaspasian started building it in 70 through 76 AD. It was completed by his son Titus in 80 A.D. I consider this a wonder because I like how people would fight in the colosseum, even animals would fight against each other, it held bloody fights, slaves and crimminals were the people that fought against each other.

Statue of Liberty

This is a statue of a lady Liberty that stands in Ellis Island,NY.It was Designed by Frederic Bartholdi and completed in 1876. I like it because I like what it represents, freedom.

The Moai statues

The Moai statues are statues that stand in Eastern Island,inhabitants who lived there carved this statues out , no one knows why. This is a wonder to me because no one really knows who made it.

Stonehenge

Stonehenge is a unclear or unknown calendar that was made for a purpose, no one knows who constructed the landmark, people think it might be made with advance tools. This wonder is very unique , I like how its stands in that positions, in that place.

Hagia SophiaThis wonder is a church of Holy Wisdom , It is a religion building in the Byzantine Empire in Constatinople , Constatine’s succesor built it. This was destroyed and built again by Justinain the Builder. I like this wonder because once I saw it in a game and like how it looks inside.

The Northern Lights

The Northern Lights are in the Southern hemisphere , It in Antartica. I like this wonder because it looks amazing , the colors are cool and you could see lights flashing. Nobody made it heat and water temperatures mixed. This is an Aurora that shine in the sky in Antartica.
