The April 2020 newsletter of First Baptist Church Trussville

We sure do miss you around here. The hallways are quiet and the parking lot is empty. However, God is still on His throne, and the Church is still being the hands and feet of Jesus. We really don’t know how long our lives will be interrupted, but you do know that Romans 8:28 is still true? We are praying ev-eryday that good will come from these difficult days! So what do we do today? I am glad you asked!

1. Pray! Pray for our leaders, our health, and one another. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective!

2. Call! Take a few minutes and call those that you sit by in church, those in your class, those you know are in the First Baptist family. Check on your neighbor.

3. Serve! For those of you that are not in compromised situations, help those who are.

4. Encourage! Put a smile on your face and let His light shine through you.

5. Manage! What a great opportunity to write a note, study a passage, learn a new technology, memorize Scripture…you get the point. Make use of these days

6. Prepare! Get ready for the Sunday we can get together again! It is going to be awesome.

And please remember to pray for your team here. We are working hard so that God can do what only He can. We look forward to seeing you soon!
